Rick is a resident of Austin, Texas and is heavily involved is the Austin start-up community. He is a CTAN member and former Board Chair for six years of this very active angel group. He has personally invested in 42 start-ups in 94 rounds of investments. He is currently an ACA Board member, the Board Chairman of Broadway Bank in Central Texas and serves on three additional Boards. Rick has 35 years of experience in financial management and strategic guidance at two Fortune 50 technology companies. Rick was instrumental in the creation of the ACA Data Analytics Committee that publishes the Angel Funders Report every year.

With over 30 years of executive leadership spanning startup scaling, market positioning, and global communities, Tony brings deep perspective on aligning private company milestones with broader market expectations. Before MDB Capital, he was Chief Marketing Officer for Collective 54 and Capital 54, advising founders on growth capital, enterprise valuation, and strategic exit positioning. He also served as global CMO of YPO, leading executive programs and strategic engagement for an international network of over 30,000 chief executives managing enterprises across every market cycle.
At MDB Capital, Tony helps founders and syndicate partners navigate capital allocation, stakeholder alignment, and modern pathway-to-liquidity strategies.

Howard brought Keiretsu Forum to the East Coast in 2011 and has, in 16 years, expanded into the Southeast and Texas Regions. He also founded and is the General Partner of the Accelerator Venture Partners group of investment Funds. He has 38 years of venture, private equity, and early-stage investing experience.
