Keynote: Insights into Today's Investing Ecosystem
Rick is a resident of Austin, Texas and is heavily involved is the Austin start-up community. He is a CTAN member and former Board Chair for six years of this very active angel group. He has personally invested in 42 start-ups in 94 rounds of investments. He is currently an ACA Board member, the Board Chairman of Broadway Bank in Central Texas and serves on three additional Boards. Rick has 35 years of experience in financial management and strategic guidance at two Fortune 50 technology companies. Rick was instrumental in the creation of the ACA Data Analytics Committee that publishes the Angel Funders Report every year.

Building Entrepreneurial Communities
President & Head of Community Development of MDB Capital. George Brandon brings more than 36 years of investment experience to his role as President and Head of Community Development at MDB Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: MDBH). He leads initiatives that connect investors, founders, and innovators through MDB’s public venture platform.
A key architect of the partnership between MDB Capital and Keiretsu Forum that launched IPO Angels, George continues to advance strategies that align disciplined angel investing with MDB’s proven IPO model. Before joining MDB, he was a partner at Trinity River Advisors, guiding small businesses through financial restructuring.
He is a graduate of Concordia University in Irvine, California.
Howard Lubert, PhD
Investor, K4-MST President, Member, ACA Education Committee, Term Sheet & Due Diligence Specialist
Howard brought Keiretsu Forum to the East Coast in 2011 and has, in 16 years, expanded into the Southeast and Texas Regions. He also founded and is the General Partner of the Accelerator Venture Partners group of investment Funds. He has 38 years of venture, private equity, and early-stage investing experience.

A serial entrepreneur and active angel Investor, Christian has spent the past 35+ years building startups, as a founder, investor, and inventor. He was the CEO and Co-Founder of CORIT Medical, LLC, a K4-MST portfolio company. Christian was also the founder and a director of LifeLine Medical, LLC, and The RavenOye Group, LLC.
